When The Lord Makes Your Little Girl Dreams Come True...

I had always loved those unusual shaped windows in a home! |

In the movie Pollyanna the elderly man showed the kids how the crystals from the chandelier sparkled against the walls . |

The Lord Blessed Me with not one, but three fireplaces and a lovely family to gather around them.![]() |

I was blessed with a Japanese Lilac at the base of the lamp post. |

The hydrangea was here when I bought the home. |
Our property is 12,800 square feet allowing us plenty of room for a water garden, pool, and shed. Lots of room in the front too.

Floating aimlessly on the water in my own pool, in my own backyard! |
Yes, the Lord has blessed me with all those things that I had dreamed of as a little girl growing up in Alpha, New Jersey. He brought me to this lovely community of Lake Wynonah, Pennsylvania. Lake Wynonah is a private gated community with two gorgeous lakes and many other amenities; community pool, tennis court, two basketball courts, several pavilions and picnic areas, a lodge with a restaurant and bar, and many service and social clubs.
My home has many other features that I absolutely adore and enjoy. There is a huge window in the living room with the most awesome views of the sun setting in the west.
There is a shelf under that window and another over

Our home has 1988 square feet of living space. |
I always wanted a home with a red door and it was the first thing that I had noticed

And every family dreams of having two full bathrooms! The lower level full bath adjoins the lower level guest room, and
has an extra wide door made especially for one of the former owners who was confined to a wheel chair. In 1963 when I was 12 years old my parents looked at a model home that was a split level with the same type foyer and stairs as my home that lead down to a family room. I always wanted a family room from that day forward. Now I have my family room for throwing parties, watching movies, or playing ping pong.

I always loved windows with shutters too! |
In 1993 when my husband Roger and I were married I had this Bible verse read during the ceremony, Jeremiah 29:11
I want to thank the Lord for all these blessings and making my little girl dreams come true. What makes it all so special is the fact that I am sharing these blessings with

Easy, Bundt Pan Sticky Buns
1/2 stick butter, melted
1/2 C. pancake syrup (any brand you like, I used Aldis)
1/3 C. packed light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon1/4 cup sugar
1/2 C. chopped pecans, optional
Instructions:
Spray a fluted pan with non-stick spray. Combine the melted butter and syrup in a small bowl and set aside. In another bowl, combine the brown sugar and nuts . Place about half of the syrup mixture in the bottom of the pan. Then sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture on top. Dip one side of biscuit in sugar/cinnamon mixture, arrange the biscuits on the bottom of the pan, overlapping edges (closely together) to form a ring. Top with remaining syrup and nut/sugar mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 1/2 minute in the pan, then invert onto a serving platter and enjoy!

Photo from Briar Rose Bed & Breakfast |
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup plus 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 store-bought pound cake (12 ounces), cut into cubes and stars with small star cookie cutter
- 1 (8 ounces) cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cups fresh blueberries (three 1/2-pint containers), rinsed and dried
- 3 cups fresh raspberries (two 6-ounce containers)
Directions
Slice pound cake into cubes and cut out a few star shapes to garnish top.
-
With an electric mixer, beat cream cheese with remaining 1/3
cup sugar on high speed until lightened. With mixer on medium speed,
gradually add heavy cream in a steady stream; continue beating until
mixture is light and airy (mixture will be like a very soft whipped
cream).
-
Arrange half the cake pieces in the bottom of a 2-quart
serving dish. Spoon half the cream-cheese mixture over cake in dollops;
spread to sides of dish. Scatter half the blueberries and raspberries on
top. Repeat layering with remaining cake, cream-cheese mixture, and
berries, piling berries in the center.
- Garnish top with star shaped cake
- Cover, and refrigerate until chilled, at least 1 hour and up to overnight.
