Our Valentine's Day Celebration 2017

Yesterday I held our annual Valentine's Day Celebration!

Cream Cheese Spinach Dip
                       Cheese Steak Ring
 Strawberry Whipped Cream Filled Cupcakes

Freshly baked cheese cake made perfect using  a pan of boiling water in the bottom rack of my oven! Success!

Oh boy is it delicious with cherries

Our traditional chocolate fountain

The Grandkids had a great time gathering around the chocolate fountain and then exchanged Valentine Cards.

My husband made a reservation for us to celebrate at one of our most favorite local restaurants on Valentine's Day Tuesday February 14th.

My funny Valentine treated me to a marvelous dinner at our favorite local restaurant, Crossroads Inn on Adamsdale Rd just a few miles from our home. The owners grew up in Bridgewater NJ just like my husband and attended the same high school.

This was our meal:

Sweetheart Dinner for Two…
Shrimp Cocktail to Share. (I added the clams casino and Roger ate the shrimp)
5 oz. Filet Mignon Topped with Demi-Glaze & 6 oz. Broiled Lobster Tail each.
Finish with Our Dessert Sampler. We could have also had two glasses of champagne but we don't drink alcohol so they gave us our ice teas as part of the deal.

Great service and the food was amazing!

Here he is...🎶My funny Valentine!🎶

His favorite Shrimp Cocktail
My favorite Clams Casino
Demi Glazed Filet Mignon, Lobster Tail, Baked Potato & String Beans

Cheese Cake, Mousse, Creme Brulee, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake

They had the entire restaurant decorated beautifully for Valentine's Day, even Mylar balloons.

Decorating For Valentine's Day 2017

A very inexpensive tussy mussy made from print outs and Dollar Tree pape doilies.

While I crafted Tussy Mussies and bows for the Valentine Tree in our bedroom three different Cardinals were watching me from the feeders on our deck. They are so beautiful to behold! Loving the life I live, living the life I love!

Thank you Lord!

Out Mini February 2017 Vacation ~King Of Prussia, PA

Our mini vacation is underway. What a BLESSING!

Then on Saturday we swung over to Exton and had lunch at On The Border.

We had a wonderfully relaxing mini vacation, an overnight stay at a lovely hotel, and fabulous eats at two fantastic restaurants. However, it is always so good to be back home because there is no place like it! Thank you Lord for so many blessings.
