We are away on vacation to celebrate Roger's birthday in Connecticut and Rhode Island. I will blog with pics when we return home.

Yesterday our granddaughter Emily came to our home to attend a concert in Hershey PA with her cousin Abby. It was The Show Of The Summer with Abby and Maggie's favorite guy Shawn Mendes. They were so thrilled!

Abby won three sets of tickets for this show so her whole family and cousin Emily got to attend. However the tickets were pairs of two and of course Abby got the best seats on the floor that she shared with Emily as to have an adult with her.  Mommy sat with Maggie and Daddy with Jake.

Breakfast On The Deck, So Richly Blessed!

I had stumbled onto this Meme yesterday and then I had breakfast on my deck this morning!

I could have never supposed in my head that my life would have turned out to be such a lovely picture! 

Thank you Lord for so many rich blessings! Thank you Holy Spirit for guiding me! Praise GOD for HE is so, so, GREAT!

Oh, and boy do we enjoy it!

Yesterday we had our old roof replaced and chose a new color because we are also power washing (my husband bought himself a power washer) the vinyl siding and then painting the doors and the shutters a different color.

I have chosen light colors that remind me of one of my favorite places, the beach! I think it is only fitting since we live in a beautiful lake community!

We are truly making progress in leaps and bounds this year on making our property lovely, sustainable, and livable! 

So far this year we have replaced our hot water heater, clothes dryer, side door, the roof, canvas for our gazebo, four all new bird feeders for our fine feathered friends, new safer easier to climb steps to replace the ladder on our pool, now to finally finish the walk out front where we tilled the earth and created a new front garden with all new mulch, and to power wash and paint as stated above, and replace boards and supports and stain the floor of the deck.

Yet throughout all of these improvements we have been able to enjoy celebrations, our pool and picnics with friends.

Hoping to have it all done by October so we can vacation for a week or so in Florida.  

I praise GOD for seeing us through all of this and blessing our lives with a beautiful loving family who can enjoy this home HE has made for all of us to enjoy! Oh, and boy do we enjoy it!
