Pecan Toffee Bark
1 sleeve or 40 Saltine crackers
1 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
12 ounces dark or milk chocolate chips
1 cup of crushed pecans
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil. Arrange 40 Saltines on foil, single layer, touching. In small saucepan bring butter and brown sugar to a boil, boil 3 more minutes stirring occasionally. Remove from heat & pour over crackers and bake 5-6 minutes.
Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over, wait a few minutes for them to melt then spread with a spoon or spatula. Sprinkle on the crushed pecans. Let cool completely and break into chunks. Store covered at room temperature.
