I had a little Tea Party
This afternoon at three
Twas very small
Three guests in all

Just Dolly, Grammy and Me!

Flutter by little butterfly
Pretty butterfly, flutter by

Where are you going today?
Going to tea I hear you say

Butterflies don’t drink tea
Neither does a buzzy bee

Buzzy bees do make honey
But drinking tea just sounds funny

See the flowers in the garden
Oh I see. I beg your pardon

You feed from flowers. Now I see
And that nectar. That’s your tea

Pretty butterfly, flutter by

Enjoy your flowers and your tea

We would have had our party in the garden today, but the wind would have blown us away.
