Although I am of PA Dutch/German, English, and Danish heritage I was taught by my mother's friend Anna aka Anky Penyak-Moyer to make homemade pierogies. My mother taught me to make stuffed cabbage aka halupki.
To commemorate the Eastern Orthodox Christmas I made this Eastern European meal today.
